Luckin Coffee, Louis Dreyfus to launch co-branded juice

Xiamen-based coffee chain Luckin Coffee and Louis Dreyfus Company, a leading merchant and processor of agricultural goods, signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a joint venture on Sept 25.

According to the agreement, the two sides will jointly fund a processing plant in China focusing on co-branded NFC (or not from concentrate) juices.

Louis Dreyfus will be responsible for the raw materials and the joint plant will do the juice bottling processing.

Luckin Coffee said it will bring better products, experience and services to its customers.

Guo Jinyi, Luckin Coffee senior vice-president and co-founder, said his company will further meet the diverse product needs of users through the venture.
