The Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce inked a letter of intent on strategic cooperation with the Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs' Alliance, or CFEA, on Oct 11 in Beijing.

The agreement states that the two sides will take full advantage of their respective strengths to carry out strategic cooperation in various fields in a bid to help Xiamen attract more investment.

The Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs' Alliance will arrange for companies to visit Xiamen and entice them to set up operations in the city.

Some of the projects introduced by the alliance have said they intend to invest in Xiamen.

The Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs' Alliance was established by the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises. The alliance has 30 overseas offices, 18 of which are located in Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan and 12 of which are located in foreign countries. Its members operate all over the world, including North America, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia.
