Location 

As a core city on the west bank of the Pearl River, Zhuhai has been an important port of China's opening-up since ancient times. It is also a highland of innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and an important fulcrum of the national Belt and Road Initiative. 

Xiangzhou is the only area in the mainland connected to both Hong Kong and Macao by a bridge. It is a core urban area on the west bank of the Pearl River and an integral part of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Transportation

Xiangzhou has a modern integrated transportation network consisting of an airport, ports, railways and expressways. It is a traffic hub on the west bank of the Pearl River.

The 55 km-long Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is a huge structure that connects the three places and shortens the driving time from Xiangzhou to Hong Kong to half an hour.

Environment

Xiangzhou is close to mountains and the sea, and enjoys a beautiful environment and fresh air. With a subtropical monsoon climate, it has an annual average temperature of 24°C. Its urban air quality index ranks top in China and the rate of good ambient air quality reaches around 90%, making the place ideal for both living and business.

Human resources

Ten universities including Sun Yat-sen University, Ji'nan University, Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai), and Beijing Institute of Technology (Zhuhai) are located in Xiangzhou. The number of on-campus students surpasses 13,0000, ranking second in Guangdong province.
