Zhuhai Zhengfang Group and the Macao Institute of Space Technology and Application of Macao University of Science and Technology (MUST) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Jan 16 to establish the satellite geomagnetic science and application research institute.

As per the agreement, the research institute is set to be established in Xiangzhou Innovation Harbor, with joint establishment and operation by both parties.

The research institute is expected to prioritize the innovative advancement of the satellite industry chain, engage in crucial core technology research, and accelerate the exploration of the application of cutting-edge international technologies. Its goal is to address bottleneck issues and facilitate the accelerated development of science and technology innovation industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
