Zhuhai Stop of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race held a public open day on March 9, allowing guests to board yachts such as the Zhuhai yacht and interact with the crew face-to-face to experience the charm of sailing and the maritime stories behind it.

Featuring third-generation standardized yacht designs, these 70-foot vessels represent the pinnacle of competitive sailing. They can handle various sea conditions and challenges with ease. The yacht's interior layout showcases the crew's life in cramped quarters, offering visitors a profound understanding of the hardships and challenges of sailing.

The event also featured market stalls at Jiuzhou Port of Xiangzhou district displaying official Clipper Race souvenirs, maritime-related products, and local Zhuhai intangible cultural heritage items, which captivated local and international guests. 

The event aimed to promote Zhuhai's maritime culture and abundant tourism resources by showcasing the charm of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race to the public.
