On May 10, 2024, Huafa MSCE, jointly with QSI International School of Zhuhai (QSI), organized another "Multicultural Integration" series event, A Visit to Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Fire and Rescue Station, which attracted nearly 70 Chinese and foreign children from the United States, Russia, South Africa, Germany, France, Japan, the UK, India, Canada, Hong Kong China and Macao China to join.

The firefighters warmly welcomed the teachers and children from QSI, took the children to visit different kinds of fire engines, and helped them get on the fire engines for a close look. In the Q&A part, the firefighters explained some daily-life fire safety knowledge, vividly showed the kids how to report a fire alarm, escape from fire and avoid fire in different seasons, and patiently answered the questions raised by the children.

After that, the firefighters introduced various types of fire extinguishers, fire escape disposable masks, fire hose, water gun and protective clothing. In order to let the children better understand this profession, the firefighters invited many kids to try on the fire protective clothing. Wearing the brightly colored protective clothing, the children were excited and felt so cool. A kid from France said, “When I grow up, I want to be a fireman to protect people”. In the following part, the kids rushed to the fore to experience the dry powder fire extinguisher and water gun. Then it came to the highlight of the event. The firefighters operated an elevating fire engine to put out fire at a height of 48 meters, which made all the visitors at the scene clapping and exclaiming, “Amazing!”

At the end of the event, the kids gave their handmade cards to the firefighters as a gift to express their admiration for the firefighters and thank them for their tireless efforts to protect the safety of thousands of families. In laughter and delight, the kids and teachers from QSI took photos with the firefighters to record this special and wonderful day.
