With road trips continuing to rise in popularity, an increasing number of Hong Kong residents are driving to Zhuhai to engage in leisure and recreation. Thanks to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the recently-opened Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, it has never been easier to travel between the two cities.

According to the "2024 Greater Bay Area Summer Travel Trends Report" released by Tongcheng Travel, the number of reservations for several well-known attractions in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao has rapidly increased. Jingshan Park in Zhuhai's Jingzhou district ranks seventh among the fastest-growing attractions in the Greater Bay Area this summer.

Officials from Jingshan Park reported that since July, they have welcomed over 60,000 visitors, a 62 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

At Jingshan Park, visitors can not only enjoy nature while strolling along Jingshan Road but also take cable cars and aerial tramways to admire the unbeatable sea views.

Furthermore, data reveals that Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom and New Yuanming Palace secured the 10th and 18th positions on the list of the top 20 most popular attractions in the Greater Bay Area for the summer of 2024.

Popular tourist activities for Hong Kong visitors heading to Zhuhai include visits to family-friendly parks, beach resorts, hot spring spas, fruit-picking experiences, as well as city walks and urban sightseeing. The diverse range of tourism offerings in Xiangzhou not only caters to visitors of different age groups but also enhances its appeal as a tourist destination.
