Over 3,000 members of the Yang clan, including villagers over 50 and those from Hong Kong, Macao, and overseas who returned to visit family, gathered at 320 tables alongside guests and friends from various backgrounds.

On the day, Huafa MSCE invited nearly 20 foreign friends from the United States, Germany, Denmark, Kazakhstan and Japan as well as representatives of its cooperation units to enjoy delicious food, appreciate wonderful art performances and feel the festive vibe and the charm of local clan culture.

The Yang clan of Beishan village, with a nearly 800-year history, has long upheld the family values of loyalty, filial piety, righteousness, and integrity, along with the cherished tradition of respecting and honoring the elderly.

Since 2000, Beishan community has hosted an annual spring celebration in honor of the elderly for 20 consecutive years. The event has grown from dozens to hundreds of banquet tables.

Nowadays, this celebration stands as a grand New Year event for Nanping town and a signature activity for the family education and tradition inheritance base in Zhuhai.

During the 2025 Spring Festival holiday, statistics show that Beishan business circle attracted nearly 180,000 tourists, with a daily flow of up to 30,000 on average, making the village a popular spot for cultural tourism in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

"This is my first time participating in such a special folk activity and dining with 3,000 people! I'm thrilled to experience these traditional Chinese customs. I learned that today is when Beishan villagers from around the world return home to reunite with their families, which is incredibly meaningful. In this warm, lively, and festive atmosphere, we've gained a deeper understanding of family, love, and cultural heritage," said Astrid from Denmark.
