PhD and postdoc gather in Xiangzhou with groundbreaking results

The Artificial Intelligence and New Generation Information Technology session of the "Zhuhai City Key Industry Fields Doctor and Postdoc Academic and Technological Achievements Exchange Month" series was held in Xiangzhou district on Nov 21. 

This event focused on cutting-edge industrial fields such as artificial intelligence and new-generation information technology. It adopted a three-dimensional "experience sharing + environment promotion + project communication" model to create an efficient and pragmatic exchange platform, attracting nearly a hundred participants, including experts, scholars, doctors, postdocs, and representatives from investment institutions. 

This event is a concrete action by Xiangzhou district to implement strategic deployments for strengthening technological innovation, promoting industrial intelligent development, and building a high-level talent hub. 

At the beginning of the event, Yao Kun, an outstanding entrepreneurial PhD in Xiangzhou district and founder and general manager of Guangdong Tanyu New Materials, shared his practical experience in innovation and entrepreneurship in Zhuhai. The KAR-01 microsphere technology independently developed by his team is a pioneer in the domestic industry, making Tanyu New Materials the first enterprise in China to achieve ton-level mass production of Metal Organic Framework (MOF) materials.

Yao stated, "Zhuhai's well-developed industrial ecosystem, precise policy support, and strong innovative atmosphere are the most solid supports on our entrepreneurial journey." His sharing resonated widely with the doctoral and postdoctoral talents present, providing valuable reference for young talents intending to develop their careers in Zhuhai.

As the core segment of the event, the Results Communication and Cooperation Negotiation session served as a "key link" for the deep integration of talent and the market. The event concurrently featured two dedicated roadshows and docking sessions. Twenty-one doctoral and postdoctoral teams took the stage to present their cutting-edge technological achievements. Representatives of talent recruitment departments, investment institutions, park incubation platforms, and technology companies engaged in in-depth exchanges regarding technological applications and project cooperation.

Moving forward, Xiangzhou will continuously follow up on the progress of project implementation, increase policy support and service guarantees, and promote the grounding of more high-quality innovative achievements in Xiangzhou.
