Work began on the renovation and expansion project of the 2nd People's Hospital in Xiangzhou District on Aug 27. Its goal is to open in January 2027 and be able to handle the medical needs of 500,000 people in Nanping Sci-Tech Ecocity.

Work started on the 120,000-sqm (30-acre) Sanxi Huafa Intelligent Manufacturing Harbor in Sanxi Technology & Innovation Town on Aug 2, which is expected to bring 525,000 sqm (130 acres) of industry 5.0 space once operational in September 2023.
