In a strategic move to support the development of an international consumption center city, Zhengdong New District will focus on four key areas. 

The zone seeks to ignite a fresh engine for consumption growth beginning with the creation of new consumer scenarios. By leveraging parks and waterfront areas, the zone will take advantage of opportunities during peak seasons like Spring Festival to meet consumer demand for freshness and improve consumer experiences. Additionally, seasonal events like family markets and holiday promotions will be organized to meet consumer preferences. Secondly, attention will directed toward new business models to stimulate consumer demand.

The zone will introduce the first store and image store in a variety of formats to meet the diverse needs of individual customers. Efforts are also directed towards launching distinctive products with unique selling points and expanding the influence of Zhengzhou's intellectual properties such as comedy. Furthermore, the zone will expand consumer supply by focusing on developing new functions and spaces.

Furthermore, the zone will focus on innovating city functions to expand new spaces for consumption supply. Initiatives include activating the consumer economy in key areas like Ruyi Lake, Beilong Lake, and the Grand Canal. The zone will also be committed to upgrading distinctive commercial districts and creating a compelling consumer brand for Zhengzhou.

Lastly, the zone is set to invigorate the consumer environment by fostering new vitality. Through top-level design enhancements, the zone aims to create synergies with neighboring cities and counties like Kaifeng and Zhongmu. Efforts will be on optimizing the business environment and simplifying the administrative processes to protect the rights of consumers and businesses. By leveraging digital technologies to integrate high-quality consumer resources, the zone will be committed to driving the development of an international consumer center.
