Jinshui district's strategic initiatives to boost economic growth

Jinshui district will focus on increasing consumption and expanding effective demand and economic vitality, to boost Zhengzhou's position as an international consumption center city.

Firstly, Jinshui district will concentrate on consumer scenes, platform economy, and market entities to create a hub of consumer resources.

The zone will take advantage of the 240-hour visa-free transit policy to enhance consumer scenes and accelerate the improvement of business districts and streets. To promote the platform economy, the zone will deepen cooperation with leading e-commerce companies, accelerate the development of offline consumer scenes, and support local platform enterprises.

To expand market entities, the zone will enhance the immersive experience across dining, living, traveling, shopping, and entertainment. By optimizing the business environment and strengthening consumer rights protection, the zone aims to attract more visitors and boost overall satisfaction.

Additionally, stimulating mass consumption requires a focus on consumption formats, consumption iteration, and livelihood consumption.  

To innovate consumption formats, the zone will support local key enterprises in expanding offline stores while fostering debut economy and brand economy.

For consumption iteration, large-scale supermarkets, and key real estate enterprises will host special promotions to accelerate the release of the multiplier effect on consumption.

To encourage livelihood consumption, the zone plans to establish a market-oriented resource, sharing platform and further develop the silver economy.

Beyond this, Jinshui district will prioritize value consumption, cultural and tourism consumption, and sports consumption to drive the integrated development of commerce, culture, and tourism. Value consumption will be cultivated by aligning with the trends of mass consumption, personalized travel, and high-quality demand.

Cultural and tourism consumption will be expanded through optimized tourism projects and the accelerated construction of cultural and tourism attractions and suburban study projects.

Sports consumption will be enriched by introducing new sports scenes, models, and industries and boosting sports products, event activities, and service offerings.
