Zhengzhou holds a strategic position in the national exhibition landscape due to its unique advantages in location, transportation, industrial foundation, and human resources. The city's exhibition industry continues to grow in both competitiveness and influence.
Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center, a key platform for the city's C&E economy development, provides significant associated benefits and economic stimulus. According to the center's data, there is a noticeable increase in consumption at nearby restaurants and substantial growth in overall occupancy rates of surrounding hotels during exhibition periods.
The construction of facilities such as the Zhengzhou International Cultural Exchange Center has further enhanced the city's capacity to host exhibitions. Combined with existing facilities, Zhengzhou is poised to establish a layout featuring multiple venues throughout the city, each with varying scales and specialties, resulting in a comprehensive exhibition system with superior scale, leading facilities, rational structure, and complete amenities.
Looking ahead, the city plans to leverage spaces such as the Olympic Sports Center and key business districts to host themed exhibitions, festivals, performances, and sporting events, fostering diverse C&E consumption scenarios and establishing a new C&E pattern.
