CPPCC National Committee holds 30th chairs' meeting

BEIJING -- China's top political adviser Wang Yang Tuesday called for careful summarizing of the innovation experience in the work of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) this year and planning for the work in 2020.

Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, made the remarks while presiding over the 30th chairs' meeting of the 13th CPPCC National Committee.

Wang required the top political advisory body to be prepared for major conferences next year, including the third session of the 13th CPPCC National Committee.

The chairs' meeting decided to hold a conference on the work of the special committees of the CPPCC National Committee on Dec 16.

The meeting also held a group study session on securing a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
