Weifang Biomedical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center, is the first national biomedical business incubator in East China’s Shandong province with an area of about 50,000 square meters, accommodating 103 businesses.

The center boasts a talented pool of staff including seven experts recruited under the Recruitment Program of Global Experts initiated by the central government, along with seventeen Taishan scholars under a provincial talents cultivation program, and has set up multiple research workstations including a workstation for academics, and postdoctoral scientific research workstation.

Since it was launched it has become a powerhouse of local biomedical industrial development and plays an increasingly important role in the research of new medicines and development nationwide.
