A project achievement release event for ISO 59004, titled "Circular Renewal: Redefining Urban Regeneration", was held on July 10 at the XMFTZ Global Innovation Center for Sustainable Development.
NFLG, a Fujian-based high-end equipment manufacturer, has obtained the world's first ISO 59004 circular economy verification statement in its industry. This marks a critical breakthrough for China's equipment manufacturing sector in the application of international circular economy standards.
This certification shows that NFLG's circular economy practices meet internationally recognized standards and demonstrates the company's capabilities in life-cycle management and circular manufacturing.
Meanwhile, the XMFTZ Global Innovation Center has been awarded LEED Gold certification. This recognition adds to its previous accolades — the 2026 TITAN Innovation Awards Gold Winner and the 2026 GHDA Global Habitat Design Awards Gold Award — further underscoring the center's proven capabilities in green building operations, implementation of low-carbon solutions, and sustainable innovation practices.
At the event, the Administration of Xiamen Free Trade Zone also released its second batch of application scenario opportunity lists, covering six use cases across three major sectors: new materials, bonded maintenance, and green ports.
