The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) will take place from Sept 8 to 11 at the Xiamen International Expo Center. A key side event — the Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Investment Cooperation Matchmaking Conference — is scheduled for the afternoon of Sept 8 in Xiamen.

The first session connected FTZs with businesses and delivered tangible outcomes. This year, Fujian, Hainan, and Inner Mongolia will jointly present their policy strengths, development strategies, industrial features, and investment climate. Company representatives will share their firsthand experience with policy benefits and outline cooperation needs across supply chains, innovation, and financing.

A roundtable discussion will be held under the theme "embracing new opportunities in FTZs, charting a new course for the Maritime Silk Road", with participation from multinationals, industry leaders, financial institutions, and business associations to explore prospects during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-30). An open networking zone will offer one‑on‑one matchmaking opportunities on site.

Building on CIFIT's global reach, the event aims to enhance collaboration among FTZs and along the Maritime Silk Road. It will support companies in utilizing the benefits of free trade reforms and identifying new opportunities in cross-border investment and supply chain partnerships.
