The detailed route for Xiamen Metro Line 6 and the adjustment for Metro Line 4 were released in the "Latest Construction Plan for Xiamen Urban Rail Transit (2015-2022)" which was released by the Xiamen Urban Rail Transit Group on Thursday.
According to the plan, Xiamen's Metro network will cover six routes with a combined rail length of 231.32 kilometers, totaling 127 stations.
The route of Metro Line 6 was announced for the first time.

Xiamen Metro Line 6 will be connected to Metro Lines 1, 2 and 4. Passengers of Metro Line 6 can switch to Metro Line 2 at Ma Luan Xi stop (马銮西), Metro Line 4 at Ma Luan Zhong Xin stop (马銮中心) and Metro Line 1 at Ji Mei Zhong Xin stop (集美中心).
Xiamen Metro Line 4 (69.6km, 18 stations)
The total length of Metro Line 4 will be extended from its previous 38.24km to 69.6km. The latest route for Metro Line 4 is as follows:
