The China-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program was launched in Xiamen, Fujian province on March 25.
A total of 58 scholars, government officials, journalists and university students from Indonesia started their study tour in Xiamen.
During their stay in the city, the group visited the Xiamen Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and Gulangyu Island, a UNESCO world cultural heritage site off the city's coast.
The visitors praised the city's picturesque scenery, convenient transportation, and tasty food.
The Chinese Embassy in Indonesia and Fujian's Foreign Affairs Office have organized the activity for three consecutive years now, as they aim to strengthen exchange between Fujian province and Indonesia and increase understanding among young people from the two regions.
