An online concert was held on Nov 21 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the sister city relationship between Xiamen in East China's Fujian province and Trier in Germany, according to Xiamen's foreign affairs office.
The two cities established sister city ties in November 2010 and over the past 10 years have carried out cooperation and exchange in various fields such as economy, culture, art, education, sports and tourism.
During the COVID-19 epidemic earlier this year, Xiamen donated 10,000 masks to Trier to help the city in the fight against the epidemic.
Authorities said that the concert will help to strengthen exchange between young people from the two cities and promote friendship.
