A job fair for talents who have studied overseas is scheduled to be held at C&D Hotel Xiamen on March 13.
The fair is sponsored by eight institutions, including the Organization Department of Xiamen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Xiamen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
Nearly 200 talents from Fujian province and other Chinese provinces, as well as nearly 70 enterprises in Xiamen including State-owned enterprises and listed enterprises, are expected to participate in the fair.
In addition, member companies of the Xiamen International Talent Introduction Alliance plan to attract talents by offering jobs with a monthly salary of more than 10,000 yuan ($1,441).
During the event, job seekers will have a chance to visit famous enterprises and talent apartments to see what it is like to live and work in Xiamen.
The organizers also plan to cover the accommodation and transportation costs for participants from outside the province at a maximum amount of 1,000 yuan per person. Furthermore, free exhibition booths will be available for companies.
Doctorate or master's degree candidates and holders from outside Fujian province that studied or are studying at the top 200 overseas universities according to the ARWU, QS and THE rankings can apply for a subsidy of 10,000 to 25,000 yuan from the province's Haiqing Program.

China announced and implemented on May 15 a policy allowing visa-free entry of foreign tourist groups aboard cruise ships via all cruise ship ports along the country's coastline.
