China in Dialogue with the World Xiamen Tour for Global Young Leaders kicks off
The China in Dialogue with the World Xiamen Tour for Global Young Leaders was held from Nov 12 to 14 in Xiamen – a coastal city in East China's Fujian province. Sixteen international youths from 12 countries, including the United States, France, Italy, Russia, Denmark, South Africa, Egypt, and Pakistan took part in the event.
The youths visited places such as the Xiamen Special Economic Zone Memorial Hall, Xiamen Port, Yundang Lake, Gulangyu Island, youth-oriented startup businesses, and Lianhua town during the tour and gained insights into Xiamen's efforts to implement global development initiatives.
At the dialogue event held on Nov 14, youths from around the world shared their feelings and impressions of Xiamen. They also exchanged views with Chinese representatives on Xiamen's practices to promote global development initiatives.
