Foreign affairs office head meets Malaysian guests
On March 4, Zhang Quan, director general of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, met with a delegation led by Dato' Steven Tee, managing director of ACMAR Group in Malaysia.
Dato' Tee and his delegation visited Xiamen in search of cooperation opportunities in the exhibition, business, and tourism industries as well as to further deepen exchanges and cooperation between Xiamen and Selangor which is the international friendly exchange province of Xiamen.
Zhang said that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, which is a great opportunity to expand the practical cooperation between Xiamen and Selangor in areas such as port, shipping, cruise liner, tourism and exhibitions to seek common development.
