During the activities, the participants actively took part in the UNDP Movers Workshop and the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) Blueroom Workshop, focusing on "Sustainable Development Goal 13 Climate Action" under the guidance of experts.
They also visited Xinglin Bay and the Xiatanwei Mangrove Coastal Wetland Ecological Park, where they carried out environmental protection work through activities such as a field investigation and mudflat cleaning, and sharing short videos and environmental protection posters on social media.
"Xiamen Practice" is a Chinese solution to the development of a global ecological civilization in the fields of urban marine eco-environmental protection, sustainable development, and climate governance. Both the Chinese and American youth agreed that the full-day immersive learning and field trip not only taught them about China's ecological civilization construction but also stimulated their innovative thinking and sense of responsibility for the UNSDGs and global environmental protection.
