Turkish political party delegation visits Xiamen
From Oct 12 to 14, a three-member delegation led by M. Emin Sarac, deputy head of foreign affairs at the Istanbul Branch of the Justice and Development Party in Turkiye, visited Xiamen in Southeast China's Fujian province.
Lin Na, vice-president of the Xiamen People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, briefed the delegation on Xiamen's economic and social development, as well as its friendly exchanges with foreign countries. She expressed a desire to strengthen friendly exchanges between Xiamen and Istanbul in areas such as economy, culture and people-to-people exchanges.
During the visit, the delegation traveled to the Maritime Silk Road Exhibition Hall and the BRICS PartNIR Innovation Center to learn about the development of the Maritime Silk Road and BRICS Plus cooperation. They also visited Yundang Lake to witness the city's achievements in ecological conservation.
