Gulf Arab youth politician delegation visits Xiamen
Abdullah Abulghaith, leader of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform and vice chairman of the Yemeni Consultative Council, led a delegation of 30 young politicians from Arabian Gulf countries to Xiamen in Southeast China's Fujian Province from December 1st to 2nd. The delegation members hail from Yemen, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.
During the visit, the delegation visited the BRICS Partnership on the New Industrial Revolution Innovation Center, learning about Xiamen's progress in advancing the greater BRICS cooperation and its best practice in implementing the Global Development Initiative. They also visited Hithium Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. and Gulangyu Island.
Members of the delegation said that Xiamen is an open, inclusive, and cosmopolitan city. They expressed their readiness to learn more about China's advanced experience in modernization and work together to elevate practical cooperation between China and Arab countries.
