Xiamen vice mayor attends Thai National Day reception
Zhuang Rongliang, vice mayor of Xiamen in Southeast China's Fujian Province, attended the Thai National Day Reception at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Xiamen on December 4th.
Addressing the event, Zhuang extended festive greetings to the Thai participants. He emphasized the deep-rooted friendship between Xiamen and Thailand, highlighting close exchanges and interactions between the two sides.
He said that in recent years, both sides have implemented the strategic plans outlined by the leaders of the two countries to build a community with a shared future, with substantial cooperation being carried out in the fields of economy, trade, sister cities, ports, healthcare and culture, yielding positive results.
Sasarak Sasivanij, Consul General of Thailand in Xiamen, said that cooperation between China and Thailand has flourished in various fields, from the Sino-Thai Railway to new energy, digital economy and artificial intelligence.
