Mexican and Central American delegation visits Xiamen
A delegation of 20 political party officials from Mexico and Central American countries, who were invited to China for the Fourth China-CELAC Political Parties' Forum, visited Xiamen in Southeast China's Fujian Province from December 6th to 8th.
They hail from Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, El Salvador, Honduras, Dominican Republic, and Guatemala.
During their stay in Xiamen, the delegation visited BRICS Partnership on the New Industrial Revolution Innovation Center, Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital Xiamen University, and Intretech Ltd., learning about Xiamen's initiatives in advancing the greater BRICS cooperation, implementing the Global Development Initiative, and developing new quality productive forces and intelligent manufacturing.
They also visited Gulangyu Island to learn about Xiamen's best practices in preserving world cultural heritage.
Impressed by China's achievements in reform and opening-up, the delegation members expressed their keenness to learn more from Xiamen's experience in high-quality development.
