Co-founded by Beijing National Day School, Daxing District, and the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, Beijing Yizhuang Experimental Primary School is located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area. It covers an area of 56mu and has a building area of 26,000 square meters. As a municipal key project for balanced education, it started operation on Sept 1, 2013, and now has 59 classes and 1,781 students.

The school is a branch school directly under Beijing National Day School. At the beginning of its establishment, it was managed by Beijing National Day School, with Li Xigui, that school's principal, as its legal representative. On the basis of the concept of Beijing National Day School, it advocates curriculum reform and interdisciplinary curriculum integration.
