Through years of polishing, Beijing E-town has been the homeland for the innovative enterprises and high-tech talents entrepreneurship. Currently, there are 985 national level high-tech enterprises, 13 national level research institutes, 20 technological innovation center in Beijing E-town. Also, Beijing E-town has 52 Major National Science and Technology Projects, 350 utility patents among per 10,000 people, and has transferred more than 40 thousands of patents, which tops in Beijing.

Beijing E-town values the importance of talents, and sets a 200 million yuan fund to prize and encourage the innovation and business creation. Till now, Beijing E-town owns more than 260 thousands of talents, 37 Academicians of the two academies (Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering), and more than 3,500 overseas returnee. Among them, 2 talents are selected as national level candidates of Talent Project in the New Millennium, and 6 are selected as city level, and 9 overseas returnees achieved Beijing Overseas Returnees Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awards.
