Recently, the "Bow String Journey" Violin Performance Day of the "Southeast Capital" Science and Technology Art Festival series was held in Nanhaizi Park. Professional performers played a quartet to show the charm of stringed instruments.

The four musicians, Li Xin, Chen Xuefei, Chen Yetong, and Huang Zhongyin are all in-service cast members of the Art Troupe of the Political Department of the Armed Police Headquarters.

The range of pieces played was fairly wide, and included early music, new music and contemporary music as well as classical romantic tunes and even music of the future. 

The occasion had three themes including a classic melody of the centennial of the founding of the Party, classical music from Europe and the United States, and film and television animation works. 

Nearly 20 classics were performed in the morning, including Red Star Song, Heroes, Azalea, My Motherland, Ten Farewell to Red Army, Sing a Folk Song for the Party, Blue Danube, Butterfly Lovers, and The Waves of the Danube.

The melodies played by the quartet were beautiful and soothing, attracting more and more listeners. Many young people were among them, shooting and recording videos.

According to statistics, nearly 20,000 people stopped to listen to the music over nearly half a day.
