In the past few days, the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) organized four "Three Cities and One District" project roadshows to match supply of scientific and technological achievements with the demand side.
Selected project teams brought their dreams, products and designs to show upcoming directions and fields in science and technology.
In recent years, many R&D projects of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have been difficult and expensive for various reasons. Many good projects have been nipped in the bud because of financial difficulties.
As the "One District" of the "Three Cities and One District", and the main platform of the International Science and Technology Innovation Center, the BDA has always focused on providing sound display platforms for good projects.
During National Service Month for SMEs, the BDA provided policy and financial support for many SMEs and scientific research projects through project demonstrations, cooperation and connections.
During the road show activities, 24 innovation teams from the Beijing Institute of Neurosurgery, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing Jishuitan Hospital and other well-known universities and institutes brought their new projects such as: intracranial pressure measurement devices, portable smart ECG cards, an atomizing device that can adjust carbon dioxide retention in a new type of ventilator mask, a personalized total hip replacement surgical robot system based on kinematics and mechanics, and a choledochoscope and biliary insertion guide device.
Team members introduced the latest research results of these projects to experts and investors, and put forward their own needs.
In the future, the BDA as an academic exchange platform will continue to carry out the "Three Cities and One District" project roadshow activities and will bring cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements into the industrial park, promoting the integration of industry and academics and accelerating transformation of innovative scientific and technological achievements.
