Top 10 most valuable private consumer goods firms in China
Hurun Research Institute released China's top 100 most valuable consumer goods companies on March 23, ranking private companies headquartered in China by market value as of March 9 or by the latest estimated value for unlisted ones. Companies on the list totaled 9.86 trillion yuan ($1.51 trillion), with a value of at least 14 billion yuan.
"China's big consumer goods companies are getting bigger, over 70 percent companies on the list are also included in the Hurun China top 500 companies, and more than 10 percent on the global top 500 list," said Rupert Hoogewerf, Hurun Report chairman and chief researcher.
