The three-day 2021 International UAV Application and Prevention and Control Conference was held in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) on June 9, bringing together domestic and foreign drone technology and top experts, with 17 sub-forums and a total of 20,000 square meters of exhibitions.

The 2021 National UAV Innovation Skills Competition was held at the same time, creating a high-standard and high-level international event for UAV industry applications.

As UAV application fields continue to expand, the number of UAV manufacturers in China is also growing rapidly, and it is becoming the world's largest UAV supplier.

With the theme of "Leading the whole world and spreading wings for the future", the conference was attended by more than 500 domestic and foreign guests, over 2,000 industry representatives, more than 200 exhibitors, and over 20,000 professional visitors.

Meanwhile, the 2021 UAV Industry Expo was also in full swing. The exhibition covered an area of 20,000 square meters, with more than 200 exhibitors participating. It showcased the drone industry's latest technological products, research technologies and application solutions from businesses across the sector.

The 2021 National Drone Innovation Skills Competition, hosted by Beijing Rixingyu Software Co., Ltd., a company in the BDA, attracted the participation of more than 30 teams from over 10 provinces and cities across the country.

The design competition teams, according to requirements, designed drone platforms and mechanical claws to grasp objects and perform other actions. The competition required them to assemble, debug, fly and defend their works.

The BDA has real advantages in the field of drones.

It has a number of outstanding drone R&D companies such as AVIC, JD.com, Beifei Blueprint, Plot, and Eagle Eye Technology.

The area has also built a drone certification center, a common platform for related technologies, and a professional UAV incubator park in order to give full play to platform-based technological innovation and industrial development advantages and create a sound environment for UAV development.
