Toyota Sinohytec Fuel Cell Co., Ltd. (FCTS) completed its industrial and commercial registration in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) on June 28. This marked the moment that the leading enterprise in the hydrogen energy industry chain, invested in by the Toyota Motor Corporation, officially settled in the area.
As the main front of Beijing's real economy, the BDA has deployed the hydrogen energy industry in advance, integrating it with the high-end automobile and new-energy intelligent automobile industries.
Last year, Beijing SinoHytec Co., Ltd., Toyota Motor Corporation and four other automobile manufacturers jointly established the "United Fuel Cell System Research and Development (Beijing) Co., Ltd." (FCRD).
The FCTS is a joint venture company established by SinoHytec and Toyota in China to promote the business of fuel cell system commercial vehicles.
The project will undertake the research, development and implementation of key technologies, such as FC stack, FC system control technology and vehicle mounting technology, to accelerate the popularization of fuel cell vehicles in the Chinese commercial vehicle market.
Behind the introduction of FCTS are the continuously optimized business environments and services of the BDA.
The BDA's relevant departments assisted FCTS to finish its industrial and commercial registration in just one day.
When faced with complex problems during the settlement of multinational enterprises, the BDA has organized 25 weekly meetings, special meetings and others to coordinate and overcome various difficulties.
Meanwhile, the BDA has helped FCTS to handle 46 issues in fields such as land purchasing, funding subsidies, design and construction, tax incentives, financial support, and infrastructure.
