Recently, staff members from the Beijing Disabled Persons' Federation and the Beijing Barrier-Free Environment Construction Promotion Center came to the office hall of the Government Affairs Service Center of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) to conduct inspections of barrier-free ramps, Bluetooth doorbells, low-level service facilities, wheelchairs, and barrier-free restrooms.

Since Beijing released a series of measures to promote barrier-free environments two years ago, the BDA Government Affairs Service Center has not only conducted renovations of barrier-free facilities, but also put forward requirements for government service centers at all levels, such as Ronghua Street and Boxing Street.

With Spring Festival approaching, officials from the Beijing Disabled Persons' Federation and the BDA Social Affairs Bureau also formed a team to visit families of the disabled in the area and bring them gifts and good wishes.
