114 more outstanding SMEs in BDA
The BDA's outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises in 2022 have increased to 114, while the number stood at 90 in the previous year. This data came from the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA).
Up to now, the BDA has 38 national-level outstanding SMEs, 58 municipal-level "Little Giant" SMEs, and 319 municipal-level outstanding SMEs, accounting for 13 percent, 15 percent and 12 percent, respectively, of the total number of enterprises in Beijing.
"When a company is growing, the pressure of research and development and the financial problems brought about by rapid expansion restrict its development," said Chen Shaolong, chairman of Beijing Chietom Precision Transmission Technology Co. Ltd.
With the support of science and technology financial services in the BDA, Chietom's core technology of "design and manufacturing technique of industrial robot joint CRV reducer" has achieved breakthrough of zero in this technical field in China, with an annual production capacity of 30,000 CRV reducers.
As of December 2021, the special funds for scientific and technological innovation have actually directly invested in 67 enterprises, with an investment of 785 million yuan ($123.32 million).
The financial service alliance established by banks, funds, insurance, securities, and investment circles within one year after its establishment, has supported 35 outstanding SMEs, 2 unicorn companies, and 292 other scientific and technological innovation enterprises, with a total credit line of 23.23682 billion yuan.
