As the Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympic Games opens, Shuey Rhon Rhon, the mascot of the Winter Paralympic Games, has become the focus. 

The Youth Association of the Yongkang Apartment Community in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) recently launched an intangible cultural heritage paper-cutting activity starring the mascot.

During the activity, a social worker led youth to experience the culture of paper-cutting. 

The red paper flipped up and down on their fingertips, and after a while, they had created their own mascots.

"I'm very happy to create a Shuey Rhon Rhon by myself, and I will continue to support community youth activities in the future," said one attendee.

This event not only integrated the intangible cultural heritage of paper-cutting into Winter Paralympic culture, but also promoted traditional culture. It also inspired young people to practice the Winter Paralympic spirit and contribute to the Winter Paralympic Games.
