BDA's import, export volume increases by 6.7 percent
According to statistics, in the first quarter of this year, the total import and export volume of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) was $43.26 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.7 percent.
Behind this dazzling report are the efforts made by Beijing Customs to provide high-quality services for advanced manufacturing enterprises in the area.
Create a high-quality business environment
To facilitate enterprises, Yizhuang Customs, a subsidiary of Beijing Customs, has been promoting such measures as online order receipts, independent printing and online verification.
The raw materials imported by our company do not have the conditions for sampling and inspection at the port customs. But, if the raw materials cannot arrive at the factory in time, the production line may be cut off, resulting in huge economic losses." Cui Ying, director of the logistics department of an LCD panel enterprise, was worried about the process.
After learning about this, Yizhuang Customs quickly set up a working group to study and formulate assistance plans, successfully solving the import problems faced by enterprises.
Open customs clearance express
In recent years, Beijing Customs has stepped up in its reform of customs clearance, from intelligent approval to "one-stop" inspection, improving customs clearance efficiency through multiple links , shortening customs clearance time, and saving time for enterprises.
Delivery companies reduce the burden of enterprises
To reduce the burden and increase the efficiency of enterprises, customs have been seeking preferential tax measures for key industries based on the industrial structures of the advanced manufacturing industry in the area.
