The 2022 World Robot Conference was held in Beijing E-Town from Aug 18 to 21. 

This year, multiple robot application scenarios, created by 12 robotic and intelligent manufacturing enterprises in Beijing E-Town, were unveiled, fully demonstrating the technological innovation achievements and application scenarios of the upstream and downstream robotic and intelligent manufacturing industry chain in the area.

At this year's event, the SRT software robot appeared with its self-developed flexible end effector. 

Flexible end effectors are a new class of end grippers that can gently grip objects. It is extremely adaptable, and the same gripper can pick up objects of different size, shape and weight.

"Since the World Robot Conference settled in Beijing E-Town, there have been 60 intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration enterprises in the Economic and Technological Development Zone. The number of intelligent manufacturing benchmark enterprises ranks first in Beijing, and the number of enterprises has more than doubled," the person in charge of the development area said.

At the booth of Yaskawa Shougang, the intelligent production line of new energy battery box robots is working rapidly; seven industrial robots and 10 technological processes comprehensively show the various technological processes of battery box production.

The company also uses advanced autonomous mobile robots to cooperate with the system, and to build an intelligent logistics distribution system to realize the fully automatic operation of production and logistics.

Gripper units, suction cups, magnetic adsorption units of SMC collaborative robots, unmanned vehicles and drones of JD Logistics... Since the conference settled in Beijing E-Town, more and more eye-catching products have been unveiled and applied to production and in people's daily lives.
