To date, as the first demonstration area of slow traveling systems, Beijing E-Town has completed the upgrading of more than 50 roads, and the total mileage of colorful paving of its slow traveling system is now more than 160 kilometers.

The road planning and design scheme of Beijing E-Town clearly requires building separate walking and cycling systems, and the setting up of colored roads for bicycles to ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists.

"Green" and "Wisdom" are indispensable elements in the urban slow-travelling system. 

Beijing E-Town has equipped parks with smart seats, smart trash cans, and robot patrol cars. More than 1,300 flowers have also been planted on Ronghua Road, Zhonghe Street, and Rongjing East Street.

The scattered green space is integrated, and the park green space and urban transportation are connected, forming an ecological system with forests and greenways connecting the city.
