Gathered medical resources improve residents' health in Beijing E-Town

Ms. Zhong lives in Beijing E-Town. Suffering discomfort in her right ear, she recently went to the Beijing Tongren Hospital in Beijing E-Town.

After her diagnosis, it was confirmed that Ms. Zhong was suffering from vascular pulsatile tinnitus. Through consultation with multidisciplinary experts, the hospital decided to perform surgery for her.

After the operation, Ms. Zhong was excited to find that the sound that had lingered in her ears for nearly half a month had finally disappeared.

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period (2020-25), the main body of Tongren Hospital has moved south, the number of beds in the Beijing E-Town Branch of Tongren Hospital increased to 1,400, and the area of outpatient and emergency departments has more than doubled.

In recent years, Beijing E-Town has continued to improve its medical infrastructure. Residents living in Beijing E-Town are enjoying more and more high-quality medical resources.

The Beijing Emergency Center was introduced to establish a sub-center in Beijing E-Town, which is expected to be launched by the end of the year.

The construction of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention has been accelerated in the area. And the new impatient area of Beijing Children's Hospital affiliated to the Capital Medical University was approved to settle in Beijing E-Town, with a building scale of 290,000 square meters and 1,200 beds.

Beijing Fuzheng Cancer Hospital was also completed and put into use, and will play a role in clinical research and the exploring of new models of medical-enterprise cooperation.
