(FCTS) and United Fuel Cell System R&D (Beijing) Co. (FCRD).

As early as 2020, six leading companies, including Toyota and Beijing Sinohytec Co., jointly established the FCRD, which is dedicated to the independent research and development of fuel cell systems.

By 2021, Toyota and Sinohytec had jointly established the FCTS, which focuses on the production of self-developed products and marketing. 

Attracted by the sound industrial ecology of Beijing E-Town, the FCRD and FCTS have successively settled in the area, and the R&D and production projects of Toyota Fuel Cell have also been put on the agenda.

In recent years, Beijing E-Town, relying on the ecological foundation of the new energy vehicle and intelligent networked vehicle industry, has carried out cultivation guidance and precise investment promotion, introduced leading enterprises in hydrogen energy to enter the area, and gradually improved the hydrogen energy industry chain. 

In addition to the FCRD and FCTS, the settlement of the headquarters of the New Research Hydrogen Energy Technology Co. is another high-quality introduction project.

As of now, Beijing E-Town has formed a foundation in hydrogen energy, covering the entire industrial chain of the hydrogen energy industry, including production, storage, transportation, processing, use, and research.
