After nearly a month of artificial snow, the first Manye Ice and Snow Carnival Snow Field located in the second phase of the Nanhaizi Park was officially opened to the public on Jan 7. 

This is the first time that the Nanhaizi Park has held such an event, which facilitates residents of Beijing E-Town to participate in ice and snow sports nearby.

The ski resort covers an area of 17,000 square meters and can accommodate more than 1,000 people for fun at the same time.

There are more than 10 snow games in the snow field. Although it is the first day of opening, the ski resort still attracts many tourists to experience it.

It is worth mentioning that this ice and snow carnival celebrates the 30th anniversary of the establishment and implementation of China's manned spaceflight project. 

There is also an aerospace-themed tourist area, so that aerospace enthusiasts can feast their eyes. 

According to sources, the Manye Ice and Snow Carnival is expected to continue until February, and it will also be open to the public during the Spring Festival.
