At the Zhongke E-Business Valley Industrial Park, the National Medical Products Administration's six centers in Beijing E-Town are under construction, and they are expected to start operation this June.

Beijing E-Town has attracted the National Medical Products Administration's Drug Evaluation Center, the Medical Device Technical Evaluation Center, and six other major centers to settle there. It has established a first-of-its-kind full-chain innovation service system in the city. It is called the "Concept Verification Platform-Public Technology Service Platform-Prototype Center-Pilot Plant". 

In 2022, the output value of the biological medicine and health industry in Beijing E-Town reached about 90 billion yuan ($13.09 billion), and 21 listed companies have laid the foundation for the industry's development.

Beijing E-Town plans a 20-square-kilometer biological medicine service expansion zone in the Jiugong area around the new site of the National Medical Products Administration's six centers. It will further expand the scale and scope of the biological medicine industry, according to sources.
