Outstanding companies named "invisible champions"
China Nuclear Control Systems Engineering (CNCS) and BOE Optoelectronics were awarded "invisible champion" enterprises in Beijing. The awarding event happened on Feb 28 at the summary meeting of the 7th "Maker China" Beijing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and "Maker Beijing 2022" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
CNCS and BOE Optoelectronics are both outstanding companies in their respective industries. CNCS focuses on the digitization and automation of nuclear engineering instruments, while BOE Optoelectronics masters the core technology of TFT-LCD (thin-film transistor liquid crystal display).
CNCS's independently developed digital nuclear measurement system broke foreign monopolies that had lasted for 30 years. Its nuclear reactor core neutron and temperature detector components were the first domestically designed and manufactured detectors to obtain a civil nuclear safety design and manufacturing license.
The entire plant's DCS (distributed control system) has become an unshakable core equipment in every link of the nuclear industry chain. These achievements have become the "secrets" that enabled, another company like CNCS to also win the title of "invisible champion".

In Beijing E-Town, there are many companies like CNCS that focus on "specialization, professionalism, and innovation" in their respective industries.
In less than two years, Beijing E-Town has already had four "invisible champion" enterprises. In addition to CNCS and BOE Optoelectronics, Chipone Technology and Center International also won awards.
