The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council recently released a list of world-class demonstration enterprises and specialized, sophisticated demonstration companies.

Among them, four enterprises in Beijing E-Town, namely Sinopec Catalyst, China Unicom Digital Technology, BAIC BluePark New Energy Technology, and Beijing Tiantan Biological Products were selected as world-class specialized and sophisticated demonstration enterprises.

So far, Beijing E-Town has fostered more than 600 specialized and sophisticated companies.

Over the years, Sinopec Catalyst has strengthened its close cooperation with the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and developed a variety of characteristic cracking catalysts such as semi-synthetic molecular sieve catalysts and ultra-stable molecular sieve catalysts, contributing greatly to the development of China's catalytic cracking technology. 

Meanwhile, the catalyst company has carried out research and development in equipment matching adjustment and production process optimization, and has developed a number of efficient production technologies.

It currently has an annual production capacity of 230,000 tons and its existing products include six categories and 300 varieties, such as petroleum refining and polyolefins.

China Unicom Digital Technology continues to make breakthroughs in key areas of digital transformation, creating benchmark cases in digital government, smart cities, and other fields, and providing digital government products and services to multiple provinces and cities. 

To strengthen innovation, research and development, China Unicom Digital Technology has upgraded Unicom Cloud to version 7 and launched the Gewu device management platform, the Zizhi government big data platform, and the Mogong security operation service platform, achieving new breakthroughs in functionality, performance, security, and other areas.

Beijing Tiantan Biological Products, which independently developed injection recombinant human coagulation factor VIII and has obtained clinical trial approval from the National Medical Products Administration, has achieved a ground level breakthrough in the development of recombinant blood products. 

Tiantan Biological has launched leading domestic products such as human albumin, intravenous human immunoglobulin, and tetanus human immunoglobulin, and has stepped ahead in introducing plasma protein pressure filtration separation technology, establishing research and development platforms for plasma protein products, virus inactivation process technology verification, and recombinant products. 

Currently, its scale of blood product production is in a leading position in China, as it holds 72 production licenses for three categories of products: human albumin, human immunoglobulin, and human coagulation factor.

BAIC BluePark New Energy Technology focuses on accelerating the industrialization and commercialization of core technologies for new energy electric vehicles, and has achieved independent design and manufacturing of key components of the electric vehicle system. 

With technology research and development and innovation as its core competitiveness, it relies on core technologies of electric vehicle systems, intelligent network connection, and automatic assisted driving technology, as well as charging and replacing battery service solutions to provide users with electrification, intelligence, and a personalized ultimate driving experience.

To date, Beijing E-Town has cultivated 85 national specialized and sophisticated "little giant" companies, and 562 Beijing specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises.
