Beijing E-Town launched the application for subsidies for the operation of high-end service institutions' headquarters in 2023 from May 16 to May 29. Read the following and learn how to apply.

Applicants can enter the official website of Beijing E-Town and register to submit the project.

Besides, the registered location, tax relationship, and statistical relationship of the applicants' business should be within the scope of Beijing E-Town. The institution should have independent legal personality and sound financial resources.

To qualify, the high-end service institutions should be enterprises engaged in the following activities: research and development, design, and other technical services for production activities; cargo transportation; general aviation production; warehousing and postal express services; information services; financial services; energy-saving and environmental protection services; productive leasing services; business services; human resources management and vocational education and training services; wholesale and trade agency services; productive support services, etc., which fall within the classification of productive service industries in the national economy.

The headquarters of such high-end service institutions include national headquarters, regional headquarters, and functional headquarters. 

As of the end of 2022, there should be at least three wholly-owned or majority-controlled companies or branches, with at least two companies located outside the area.

Furthermore, the institution's total taxable amount in Beijing E-Town for the full year of 2022 should be no less than 5 million yuan ($709,622.48). 

For companies established for less than a year, the total taxable amount from the establishment date to the application date should be no less than 5 million yuan.

The high-end service institutions that set up headquarters in Beijing E-Town and meet the above requirements can apply for an annual operating subsidy of 300,000 yuan starting from the year 2022. The support to the same entity shall not exceed three consecutive years.
