The Sonid Right Banner Green Energy + Advanced High-Quality Energy Storage Industry Investment Promotion Conference was held in Beijing E-Town on June 21. 

The meeting facilitated the signing of seven projects with a total investment of 17.55 billion yuan ($2.42 billion), promoting Beijing-Inner Mongolia cooperation and contributing to rural revitalization.

At the promotion conference, the People's Government of Sonid Right Banner signed contracts on site with seven companies, including Rongrong New Materials (Inner Mongolia) Co and Sany Renewable Energy Co. 

The signed projects covered various fields such as new energy, new materials, equipment manufacturing, and logistics industrial parks. 

"The concentrated signing of these projects will drive and lead the rapid rise of the energy equipment manufacturing industry in Sonid Right Banner and promote the high-quality development of the economy to a new level," said a representative from Sonid Right Banner.

Since the pairing of Beijing E-Town and Sonid Right Banner began in 2021, the achievements of the east-west cooperation have been significant. 

Over the past three years, Beijing E-Town has allocated a total of 49.5 million yuan in collaborative funds at the district level, providing strong support for the construction of rural revitalization projects in Sonid Right Banner. 

Enterprises within the area have also actively taken social responsibility. BOE Energy has constructed a 200,000-kilowatt integrated demonstration project for photovoltaic and energy storage in the grassland. 

Goldwind Technology has invested in and constructed a demonstration project for renewable energy microgrids. Enterprises such as JD and State Power Investment Corporation have made positive contributions to industries, employment, consumption, and other aspects, promoting the Beijing-Mongolia cooperation.

"Beijing E-Town will take this conference as an opportunity to work together with Sonid Right Banner, jointly run the relay race of east-west cooperation," a spokesperson for Beijing E-Town said.
