The recently implemented work plan for deepening reform and innovation and creating an integrated demonstration zone for the business environment in Beijing E-Town proposes 11 specific measures to create a favorable urban living environment, allowing people to start businesses and work here while enjoying a pleasant and comfortable lifestyle.

According to the work plan, Beijing E-Town will expand the application and commercial operation of autonomous driving vehicles, including unmanned shuttle buses, and increase the number of operational vehicles. In fact, in Beijing E-Town, there are already numerous autonomous driving scenarios, and smart cars are no longer a novelty but have become reliable companions in people's daily lives.

The work plan also shows that Beijing E-Town aims to improve the city's cultural atmosphere by organizing cultural activities such as the Dadou Dongnan Art and Technology Festival, and improving science museums and other exhibition spaces.

The plan proposes to accelerate the construction of an integrated circuit industry-education integration base to provide support for nurturing high-end talents urgently needed in the integrated circuit field. 

The integration base, led by Beijing E-Town, is constructed by Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the Institute of Microelectronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. 

Recently, the base welcomed the second batch of approximately 50 new students from Tsinghua University. According to statistics, the cumulative number of residents in the base has exceeded 200 people. 

Now, within the 60-square-kilometer area of Beijing E-Town, a multi-level education service system has been established, including preschool, compulsory education, regular high school to vocational education, and community education, meeting the educational needs of residents.

Furthermore, the plan promotes nationwide fitness and creates an atmosphere of sports for all. This June, Beijing E-Town held an exhibition and exchange event for school physical education.

Since taking over the education authority within the 60-square-kilometer area, Beijing E-Town has been promoting swimming and martial arts programs in schools and comprehensively promoting ball sports.

In addition to the inaugural 2023 Beijing E-Town Tongming Lake Half Marathon, the recently held "Start and Enjoy Life in E-Town" tourism and cycling event also attracted cycling enthusiasts from around the area.
